Steve Martin as Prince Ruprecht

Whenever I ask people their favourite Steve Martin movie, the answer's usually 'The Jerk', 'LA Story' or 'The Man With Two Brains' or something like that. All great movies but I think the most underrated of his films is 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels'. It's really, really funny and the jewel in the crown is Steve Martin's turn as Ruprecht the Monkey Boy, IMO one the funniest characters in any movie. Here he is, stabbing himself in the eye with a fork with a cork on the end of it.
